How to stay healthy mentally
Mental health is a very broad
phenomenon and there are different dimensions to be kept in mind for staying
healthy mentally. Your thinking, your emotions, your sleeping routine, the time
you spend on social media/internet, your physical routine, your job stress,
your relationship issues and your mind setup… all these affect your mental
health.
So the article will give you a short and
compact way of staying healthy mentally.
1.
Your Thinking: Our thinking is a very important domain that affect our mental
health. One faces a lot of different situation in life that could affect your
mental health negatively (Rejection in job, breakups and financial crises).
What should one do when he faces something like this?
One should stay
rational, he should analyze the situation and his standing in the situation and
should deal with it in a rational way. If one become hopeless or pessimistic
then he/she will become more sensitive to psychological disorders like
depression. So staying rational is very important.
2.
Emotions: Over
emotionality is not a good thing as it affect your mental health. If one is
over emotional then he will get upset on small things due to which he will over
think about different things and it will lead him to mental issues. Being
rational will help you here as well and when you stay rational you will
understand the standings and situation of other due to which you will not get
upset.
3.
Sleep: The good quality and quantity of
sleep is a blessing and it helps you stay healthy physically and mentally. To
get good sleep you need to have good sleeping routine, do not over use smart
phone in bed, do not over think, and make dark or dim light when you go to
sleep so your eye muscles get relax and it will help you get a very good and
refreshing sleep.

Social media/Internet: Do not over
use social media as it is full of false information and disturbing news which
affect your happiness and over all mental health and I you want to use it, use
it for something which is not disturbing and which gives you relaxation but
it’s over use is dangerous for you.
5.
Physical Routine: Your body
needs physical routine like exercise, walking, jogging. If your body do not get
tired because of exercise or walking etc then you will not get good sleep as it
is important for physical fitness and good sleep as will. Exercise also
activate hormones in your body that keep you happy or that keep your mode in
tune.
6.
Stress: Job stress or relationship issues
can also make you very weak mentally so taking a small amount of stress for the
sake of productivity is fine but if it is affecting your happiness then it is
not fine at all. Just think that the world in not going to end and you are a
human being so doing mistakes etc is fine if your boss is shouting on you for
small reasons then he needs help. Stay kind with him he also might be facing
some kind of issues and he is bursting on you unknowingly.
Your mind setup
is also of very importance. The way you process information and then react. You
might be affecting yourself unknowingly. So try to stay positive and kind.

above reasons there are a lot of other things that could affect your mental
